¡Ahora Sí!: ‘Padre Alberto’ joins the Episcopal Church!

[Episcopal News Service] The Rev. Alberto Cutié, a former Roman Catholic priest known internationally as “Padre Alberto” on Spanish-language radio and television, was received into the Episcopal Church May 28 during a ceremony held at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Miami.
“I thank God for the many people in our community who have shown me their love and support,” Cutié, 40, said in a news release from the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida. “Your prayers have truly sustained me at this time of transition in my life. With God’s help, I hope to continue priestly ministry and service in my new spiritual home.”
Cutié was already well-known when photos of him and girlfriend Ruhama Buni Canellis kissing on a beach were published in early May by a Spanish-language magazine. Roman Catholic priests take a vow of celibacy. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Miami subsequently removed Cutié from St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, where he was priest-in-charge.
Cutié served as general director and president of Pax Catholic Communications, a multimedia operation of the archdiocese. The Episcopal diocese said in its release that Cutié, after a two-year discernment process, decided to begin his ministry and the path to priesthood within the Episcopal Church.

Do Padre Alberto’s former parishioners want to belong to a church where their children will be told that they should just have sex with anyone, that homosexuality is “normal”, and that children should experiment sexually? That is standard practice in the Episcopal church.

Yo no estoy ni a favor ni en contrato del Sr. Alberto (pues Padre ya no es). Lo que si creo, es que antes de todo, debería haber dejado los habitos, y despues, seguir con su vida normal.
La Iglesia Episcopal llama “PADRE” tambien a sus clerigos. Ese apelativo no es un monopolio de la Iglesia de Roma
Yo pienso que lo que el a echo no se puede perdonar nunca porque: El escogio ser sacerdote primero que ser un hombre. el defraudo a la santa iglesia catolica, con sus mentiras y si hubiera sido tan honesto como dice que es, hubiera hablado desde un principio de su relacion y no esperar a que lo descubrieran. el es un farsante que nos ha mentido a todos. Yo pido todas las noches por esa parejita que no se porque siento que los dos estan fingiendo todo, no se porque pero todo visualizo como una gran farza.Ya que ellos no creo que pidan perdon a Dios, pidamos mucho por ellos. Dios es el mismo en cualquier religion y a Dios no se le enga~a.
