West New York’s activist Chris Lopinto is fighting hard for the quality of life of all WNY residents! Join him in his tireless efforts against over development: make your voice heard at the upcoming WNY TOWN HALL MEETING THURS 4/23 at 6:30 PM!
Hi neighbors,
We have to fight over development!! It’s scary how many huge development projects are being proposed in our small neighborhood. Sure we fight the ones that are on our doorstep but in truth even those a block or two away can have a huge impact on our lives. Growth and development is good and we do want to see our area prosper, but we need to be involved in our community and help to shape/manage this growth. Without guidelines these developers see the sky as the limit. Let’s keep them in check.
Below are the stats with respect to this proposal. Keep in mind there is still a possibility to have the prior approvals overturned.
Approved vs. Proposed:
66 1-bedroom vs. 60 2-bedroom
36 2-bedroom vs. 54 1-bedroom+den
24 1-bedroom 6 studio 2 commercial
92 parking 200 parking (30 will be designated municipal street parking on premises)
95% lot cov
15ft front setback 0.5 ft front setback
REMEMBER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND WE HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE ALREADY! LET’S CONTINUE OUR EFFORTS!!
Thanks,
Chris & Diane
