Breaking News: Dr. Felix Roque Announces West New York March in Protest of Sal Vega’s TAX HIKE!
Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 pm the residents of West New York will march from 48 St and Bergenline Avenue to 60 St. and on to West New York Town Hall in protest for the 47% TAX HIKE mayor Sal Vega has imposed on property owners. Dr. Roque has announced that once in front of City Hall the residents will celebrate a service for the healing and future of West New York.
“We must take action against the abusive policies of the Vega Political Machine and his puppet administration. They have manage to fiscally and physically destroy our city, not to mention the moral crisis in City Hall”, said Dr Felix Roque, a local physician and a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army.

“They (The Vega Political Machine) will try every trick in the Hudson County Political book to confuse our residents. They are already spending resources and time in damage control. West New York residents must be clear about his intentions: if it wasn’t for our movement and our protests he would have quietly go on to bring the city to bankruptcy. While our residents are thinking about how are they going to pay their taxes and hold on to their homes Vega’ political cronies earn six figure salaries at the expense of our hard work”, declared Dr. Roque.
“We must send a clear message to the mayor: We had enough! Enough of his lack of leadership and personal scandals! Enough of a city potholes and nepotism! Enough of his finger pointing and his disinterest for our senior citizens and our children”, he said.

I humbly ask the support of all who feel that Vega has taken our city in the wrong direction to let him and his political machine know that we are not going to take it anymore. Together we can call attention to this abuse, hopefully turn back the tide and reclaim our streets and our future from Sal Vega’s interest group. They all have huge salaries at the expense of the taxpayers. They have total disregard for the people of West New York. They are not public servants, they are a public liability and in our great country we have the right and the responsibility to take back our city and elect true public officials and not members of an exclusive club”, concluded Dr. Roque in an exclusive interview for our site.
