2008 Losers: West New York Mayor “Sal” Vega! Worst Politician in 2008!
Having inherited a prosperous city, this politician’s incompetence has managed to deteriorate West New York to the point that potholes are present in almost every street, the city has fallen in a deficit, taxes has been raised 20% in a little more than a year, an air of arrogance has occupied City Hall, and the Mayor’s incompetence seems to be equal to that of his closest associates. He is destroying everything Albio Sires built, and he is doing it at record speed. To top it all Vega is now being accused of “sexual harassment” by the town’s former chief financial officer, he has enraged the citizens of West New York to the point that they are now organizing a recall to remove him from his seat. Vega gets the 2008 Worst Politician Award! Well deserved!
