911 Remembered: Union City Unveils Monument to Victims of the Terrorist Attack!

A solemn ceremony that took place in Union City, NJ, tonight, September 11, 2008, culminated in the unveiling of a new monument to the Union City Victims of the attack on the Twin Towers as Union City Mayor and State Assemblyman Brian P. Stack and Mr. James Leber present the monument for the first time to the public. Behind the monument Mr. and Mrs. Lemagne, who lost their son David on the terrorist attacks of 911.

Bagpiper Colin Nisbet paid tribute to the victims and the heroes of 9/11 with a heartfelt performance.

Tenor Randy Pradera gave a memorable rendition of the National Anthem. Mr. Pradera is also an English teacher at Union City High School.

James Leber received a citation from the UCPD Officer Chris Scardino and Mayor Brian Stack for his generosity in providing part of the funds for the monument for the victims of 911.
