Rocco Barroco: The Worst Clothes Ever! 2008 Trapo Sucio Award!
2007 was our first year of the Rafaelmartel.com Winners and Losers Grand Finale yearly awards. It was so successful we have created new catagories; this year there is great competiton for the Estopajo Humano Award where Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and Sal Vega are fiercely struggling to get this great distinction. So, here we are at the closing of 2008 with a new recognition: The Trapo Sucio Award. While millions of Cubans pray on a daily basis for the nightmare of Communism to end, opportunists like Rocco Barroco, a self-described fashion designer, enjoys the bif life in Cuba, eating, drinking and evolving himself in debauchery. On top his horrible taste in clothes he turns his face to the harsh reality in Cuba, like many tourists and indulges in the high life at the expense and protection of the reigning dictatorship and its oligarchy. In the midst of one of the most reactionary and repressive governments against gays and lesbians, he is living it up like the trapo sucio that he is. Keep it up Rocco: You have become the excrement of the fashion industry.
Here is our July 2007 post on the Winner of The Trapo Sucio Award:
If you want to look like a bicharraco o un tareco viejo put on some of Rocco Barroco’s horrible trapos. This guy supports Cuban Apartheid and has been admiring “the beautiful bodies of Cuban boys..” and living it up in Cuba while the average price of an egg in Cuba is $1.50 and people suffer under the yoke of one of the last Communist dictatorships in the world. Rocco has created one of the most ridiculous outfits in his latest collections and many are complaining. His tasteless fashion shows are the laughing stock of the fashion industry, besides the quality is the worst. “I bought a Rocco Barroco shirt and it just melted when I sent it to the cleaners! The cleaner guy said: Hey man your shirt melted here. I couldn’t believe it!; I’ll never buy another Rocco Barroco shirt ever, Said Juan Rodriguez, who had recently purchased a Barroco item.
