US Senator Jesse Helms (1921-2008)
US Senator Jesse Helms passed away today, July 4th, 2008. Loved by his constituency, respected by his peers and appreciated by the American people, was one of the co-sponsor of the Helms-Burton Law, an attempt to press the Cuban Communists to move into a democratic society. We respectfully salute his family and friends as we celebrate his productive and patriotic life.
