Larry Holmes inducted in the Boxing Hall of Fame!

Larry Holmes raises a fist to his fans during the Parade of Champions during the International Boxing Hall of Fame weekend in Canastota, N.Y., Sunday, June 8, 2008. Holmes was a former sparring partner for Muhammad Ali came to dominate the heavyweight division in the 80′s. He remained unbeaten in 47 professional fights. He beat titans like Earnie Shavers, Ken Norton, Mike Weavers, Trevor Berbick, Leon Spinks, Gerry Cooney, Tim Whitherspoon, James Smith, Mike Tyson, Michael Spinks and Carl Williams. Any of these guys would be heavyweight champion today, cleaning the Russians and other impostors in the once legendary division in boxing. Many of these fights we saw and enjoyed his talent and his courage. Last Sunday he was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame. Congratulations Larry!
