Manny Pacquiao’s Biographical Movie Reviewed by Filipino Writer!
Pacquiao’s Life could become a subject in college!
One of the things you can do to humiliate yourself in front of many people is to create your own biographical movie. Manny Pacquiao did something like that. I happened to watch his biographical movie last night in Cinema One. This movie stars Jericho Rosales as Manny Pacquiao and Bea Alonso as Jinky Pacquiao. Jericho Rosales did a nice job on the Bisayan accent. He sounded like Manny alright but he doesn’t look like Manny to me. They should’ve picked Dennis Trillo to play Manny Pacquiao instead. If I have time, I will Photoshop Dennis Trillo’s image to make him look like Manny Pacquiao. Well for me, anatomically, Pacquiao and Dennis Trillo’s faces match except for the nose and the lips… But the eyes? They look similar.
In the movie, Manny Pacquiao exposed the bad stuff he did in his life like his drug-addiction, infidelity (yes! it’s true! he has an illegitimate child! and he cheated on Jinky thrice or more! his mistress asked for like 15 million pesos for “sustento”…), and being a “basagulero”. His life took a turn when one of his friends died because of a brawl he caused and when he read The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. Yes, it takes a lot of balls to expose the bad stuff you did in your life to the public but uhmm… Pacquiao is still my enemy and that can never be changed. Hahaha. Remember January 22, 2006? Haha. Pacquiao crushed my dream of meeting a professional wrestler! And how will I know that what is shown in the movie is really true? Did Pacquiao really change or is it just a distorted kind of message done by the filmmakers to overrate Manny Pacquiao? I mean “great” people become overrated as time passes by. Look at Jose Rizal for example. He’s so overrated that his life became a subject in college. Hmm… I’m beginning to wonder if the future Filipino youth are going to study Manny Pacquiao’s life in college… hahaha!!! That would be a bummer! It will suck… BIGTIME! Hahaha!!!
